ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

INTRODUCTION

The BRCM CE&T Alumni Association aims at working for an all time interaction and a feeling of fraternity among alumni of the institute. The association also provides opportunities for interaction between past and present graduates and faculty of the college. The College have found positions in institutions of National and International repute and the Association being a platform for mutual awareness among all.

Name of the Association

The name of the association is BRCM College of Engineering & Technology Alumni Association.

Head Office

The head office of the association is at the College Campus.

Aims & Objectives

   To foster the feeling of BRCM fraternity among college alumni through interaction and to provide platform for the same.

   To promote the cause of various disciplines of BRCM CE&T.

   To serve as umbilical chord between alumni and the alma mater.

   To guide and assist college graduates for career counseling & placement.

   To suggest ways and means to maintain the standards of excellence in the college

Membership

 Membership of the association shall be open to all the graduates of the College.

Members of the current faculty will be called associate members. They shall have voting rights but shall not contest election for the office of President and Vice – President.

The demeanour of a member of the association towards fellows has to be co-operative, kind and brotherhood.

It is expected that a member of the association will use his/her knowledge and resources voluntarily to meet the objectives of the association.

The Executive Secretary shall scrutinize the information and approve the membership. He shall also notify the list of members from time to time.

 Membership fee Rs. 300/-(Life Membership)

 Fee shall be subject to change from time to time as approved by the Executive Committee and the General Body.

Rights of member shall be :

          -        To participate in general body meeting.

          -        To vote in all elections and propose resolutions.

          -        To contest for election to Executive Committee.
