HOSTEL RULE & REGULATIONS

  

8. Unethical or undesirable conduct, which is inconsistent with general good order, wherever it may occur, will be held to be sufficient ground for dismissal from the hostel.

9. While leaving the room all switches (lights, fans, etc) must be put 'OFF'. There will be surprise checks" by College authorities. If the lights, fans and any other electric gadget's is found 'ON' while the resident is not present in the room, a fine of Rs. 500/- will be imposed.

10. College Telephone Exchange (EPABX) allows incoming calls in hostels up to 10.00 p.m. The calls are restricted to 3 minutes duration.

11. Male students are not allowed to enter the premises of BRCM Public School without prior permission of College authorities. College students are also advised not to mix with Public School students and/or to invite them to their hostel rooms.

12. Parents/authorized guardians are allowed to meet hostel inmates on permission from concerned authorities. They will not be allowed to stay in the Hostel. However, Guest House facility for one day may be provided with 2 days' advance intimation, for which nominal rent will be charged.

13. It is obligatory for every resident student to seek Warden's permission in the form of Gate Pass for leaving station during the period the College is functioning. Gate Pass must be shown to the Security Staff while going out from or returning to the campus. However, such permission would not be necessary when the College is closed for more than three days on account of vacation/holidays.

14. Gate pass for going to home will be issued only on the last weekend of the month, i.e. once in a month. In case of some special case, parents should send a letter to the Principal for calling their wards to home in between the month.

15. Students, in their own interest, are advised not to keep excess cash or any valuables in their hostel rooms. The college shall not be responsible for the loss of such items due to theft or otherwise. However, in the case of theft, the matter should be immediately reported to Warden/ Principal.

16. Cases of serious illness, if any, should be immediately reported to Hostel Warden/Supervisor.

17. Indecent/Obscene VCD, Cassette, Magazine, Book, etc or other such material is prohibited. Possession of such items in the College Campus/Hostel is an act of gross misconduct.

18. Students should maintain cordial and harmonious relationship with fellow students and not pick up any fight or quarrel. In case of any conflict the matter should be immediately reported to the Warden.

19. Male students are strictly forbidden from entering the Girls' Hostel and female students from entering Boy’s  Hostel.

20. Students are strictly forbidden to keep any kind of firearms (including fire works) or weapon in the ' , BRCM Campus even if it is a licensed one.

21. Students are also strictly forbidden from indulging in gambling, betting or any other similar undesirable act.  

22. Students are prohibited from consuming alcoholic drinks, drugs, cigarettes, tobacco products or any Other intoxicants inside the campus or to enter the campus after consuming the same. Any student found consuming such thing or in a drunken state in the Hostel or College campus will render himself liable for strict disciplinary action, including expulsion/rustication from Hostel/College.
