GENERAL CODE OF CONDUCT & DISCIPLINE

  
  • All students must clear their College and other due, including Hostel and Mess dues, regularly and in time.

  • The students are particularly cautioned against the following acts of indiscipline which may lead to strict disciplinary action against them:

  1. Misuse of or damage to College property.

  2. Violence on or off Campus, involving physical assault on staff or fellow students.

  3. Similar violent acts against BRCM Public School staff and students.

  4. Non compliance with the instructions of administrative, teaching and instructional staff.

  5. Habitual absence from classes without prior permission. Such permission will, however, be granted only in exceptional cases on valid and convincing ground.

  6. Ragging in any form Violation of the above Code of Conduct.

  7. Any conduct which is inconsistent with the status of the students of this College and detrimental to the interests of the College and student community at large.

  8. Possession and/or use of obscene sites on computer, books, magazines, periodicals, newspapers, VCD's, audio visual tapes, etc. 

  9. Notwithstanding anything contained in the rules, a student may be refused admission if his/her conduct during any previous stay in the College had been unsatisfactory.

  10. A student who has been expelled or rusticated from the College shall not be readmitted without written approval of the Principal.

  11. A student disqualified by any university/college will not be given admission during the period of his/her disqualification.

  12. Admission of a student can be cancelled at any time if it is found that he/she has furnished incorrect information or has suppressed material facts to secure admission.

  13. If a student does not comply with the directions/instructions/requirements about Registration, Migration, etc within the period specified by the College his/her admission shall be cancelled.

  14. Admission of a student shall be cancelled if he/she indulges in disrupting the College in speeches or in writing without any valid reason.

  15. Excess fee wrongly deposited by any student will be refunded in full.

  16. Neither the Fees can be adjusted in subsequent years/semesters nor any refund allowed if a student is declared ineligible to appear in the examination or fails to appear in the examination.

  17. Refund or adjustment of fee shall also not be permissible in case a provisionally admitted student is subsequently declared to be ineligible or whose admission is cancelled by the University.

  18. NO REGISTRATION/ADMISSION WILL BE ALLOWED TO THE NEXT HIGHER SEMESTER AFTER THE NOTIFIED CUT -OFF DATE IN ANY CASE.

DRESS

The student should always come to the College well dressed. Coming to the College in loose dresses like Kurta  Pyjama, Dhoti, Shorts, bathroom slippers, skirts and other similar casual wear is strictly forbidden. Wearing of casual dress must be avoided even when going to the Mess.

The following dress code prescribed by the College, for both boys and girls, must be followed:-

Workshop and Laboratories

Khaki shirt and Khaki trousers.

Chemistry Lab

Blue apron along with the dress

Sports Ground

White shirt, white shorts, white socks and white canvas shoes.

The Faculty shall refuse to admit to their class any student who is not in proper dress.
