For familiarizing the students with general household wiring and the operation and maintenance of various electrical
appliances of every day use.
Circuit Theory Lab : Experiments related to various
hamlets of Circuit Theory such as KCL, KVL, two port networks, filters, and transient analyses.

Electronics Engineering
Lab : Intends to introduce the
students of Mechanical Engineering to the
basics of Electronic Engg., here the
students perform experiments on digital electronics, analog
electronics, etc.
EEMSD Lab: Study of
electrical engineering materials and semiconductor
devices.
EMEC Laboratory: Study
of Electro - Mechanical Energy Conversion using various
AC/DC motors, generators and transformers.
Analog Electronics Lab:
Study of analog electronics devices and circuit - diodes,
transistors, FET characteristics, amplifiers, power
supplies, voltage followers, design of power supply,
etc.

Digital Electronics
Lab: Experiments on digital circuits and systems viz. logic Gates, Boolean Algebra, Flip Flops, Multiplexers, Adder, Substractor, Shift Registers and Counters
etc.
Communication Engineering
Lab: For experiments related to communication techniques
such as AM, FM, PCM, PWM, FSK, PSK, QPSK etc.
Microprocessor Lab:
Experiments related to assembly language programming and
peripheral interfacing with microprocessor and
microcontrollers, testing of memory.

Integrated Electronics Lab : Operational amplifiers and their usage for making
different circuits - adders, subtsractor, multipliers, differentiators, integrators, filters, logarithmic
amplifiers, etc.
EMI Lab: Experiments
related to Electronics Measurements and Instrumentation,
viz. all types of transducers and their signal
conditionings.
Power Electronics Lab:
Designing and analysis of circuits like choppers,
converters, inverters and cyclo-converters.

Control System Lab:
Study of various control systems for controlling of motors,
servo-systems, speed control of motors using
microprocessors, etc.
Micro Wave Lab:
Experiments on microwave devices such as Reflex
Klystron, directional couplers and study of various types of
antennas and wave-guides.
Satellite Communication
Lab: Equipped with the latest and the most sophisticated
equipment for study of various types of
modulation/demodulation, coding/decoding techniques, optical
fibre communication, etc.
